About Paul Lange
Paul Lange is an Australian writer based on the Gold Coast in Queensland.
He spent more than thirty-five years running and rebuilding businesses: consulting, enterprise, government at national and regional level in Europe, and the global hospitality industry, alongside work in private equity and venture capital. He's lived and worked across Europe, including extended periods in formerly communist Eastern Europe, and in the United States and Asia.
That last detail carries more weight in this book than the rest of the biography. The diagnosis here is drawn from watching institutions from the inside, in more than one system, over enough years to see how they change and who benefits when they do. It isn't drawn from theory.
Why he wrote it
This book sits outside his commercial work. It carries no consulting agenda and no political affiliation.
He's written the three books of The Leadership OS Trilogy and publishes three newsletters, and none of that is what this is. The manifesto isn't a product of a practice, a lead into a service, or a platform to be built on. It's offered to any person of good faith who recognises what it describes.
The architecture it sets out is deliberately designed to work without him. No membership, no organisation, no central coordination, and nobody to follow. If the book depended on its author it would have failed its own first test.

Questions about the author
- Who wrote this?
- Paul Lange, an Australian writer based on the Gold Coast in Queensland. He spent more than thirty-five years running and rebuilding businesses across consulting, enterprise, government at national and regional level in Europe, and the global hospitality industry, alongside work in private equity and venture capital. He's lived and worked in formerly communist Eastern Europe, in the United States and in Asia, and the diagnosis in this book is drawn from watching institutions from the inside rather than from theory.
- Is this a consulting book?
- No. It sits outside his commercial work, carries no consulting agenda and no political affiliation, and isn't a lead into a service or a platform to be built on. It's offered to any person of good faith who recognises what it describes.
- Is Manolutions behind it?
- Manolutions Publishing is the imprint, which is his own, and that's the whole of the connection. The commercial practice at manolutions.com is a separate thing, and the book states in print that it sits outside it.
- What else has he written?
- The 20% Leader, Mis(très)s Entrepreneur Manifesto and Evolve or Be Remembered form The Leadership OS Trilogy: how to build, how to lead, how to become. The Inheritance Manifesto isn't part of it and stands alone. He also publishes three newsletters: Conviction, on leadership with a backbone, InnSight, on the business of exceptional hospitality, and Yes. Know. Deal., on the business of buying and selling.
- Does the book depend on him?
- No, and that's deliberate. The architecture it sets out is designed to work without him: no membership, no organisation, no central coordination, and nobody to follow. If the book depended on its author it would have failed its own first test.
